Although every Yoga practice is a blend of
breath awareness, alignment, physical and mental focus, we each
naturally tend to stress on one or more of these as against the others. When
we work in conjunction with our natural inclination yoga becomes an easy and
meaningful flow of he mind into the moment.
That is why our Yoga teachers bring their own
special talents to the class inviting you to share their gifts and discover
your own.

drop-in classes for all levels
Saturday
Hatha Yoga with Trisha Nealon
Moving from a brief meditation to start, this open-level class flows
through warm-ups, basic standing and seated poses, introduction of
gentle backbends and safe steps toward inversions, and rest.
Everyone is welcome to come explore his or her own place on the yoga
path.

Focus on Chakras with Lori and Ramaa
Awaken
the energy centers in the body with “Chakra-focused yoga”. This mindful
practice explores specific asanas for bringing about balance in each of the
seven primary chakra regions. The purpose of this asana practice is to
release the tension in the body and prepare the mind for a guided meditation
with Ramaa Krishnan. All levels welcome

For the
continuing 'yogi'
Continuing
Yoga on Thursday mornings
For students with previous experience, class will have a sequential
series of poses, leaving the practitioner feeling more open,
flexible and strong.
Pranayama will be included at the end of class. Some previous yoga
experience is recommended.

Preparing
the body for Kundalini Yoga
Kundalini Yoga combines
posture, breath, focus, visualization and chanting all aimed at clearing the
"nadis" or energy pathways within us. During this 6-week pre-Kundalini
Yoga workshop, we will
teach the participant some basic asanas (postures) to prepare the body for a
more intense Kundalini practice. Weekly
homework will gradually set you up on your own daily Sadhana .
Meditation Level 2 is a pre-requisite for this class since the focus is
chakra work. Class size will be limited. The fee for the 6-week workshop is $120.
