Awaken the energy centers in the body with “Intention-focused yoga”. This mindful practice explores specific asanas to embody the intention of the month. This class is alignment oriented and strives to take the focus from the outside…to the inside. Monday’s class concludes with a relaxing meditative reflection.
Our weekly class offers an introspective philosophy for the mind, body and spirit to work together. Breath, intention and focus are used for the body to receive the complete benefit of the practice.
Our yoga teacher, Lori Sander, sees yoga as a “work-in, not a work-out,” meaning the practice is an instrument to calm the mind and energize the entire system, and not just a means to tire oneself out.
