ANNUAL FALL RETREAT
From Past To Possibility
Retiring Old Patterns,
Reclaiming Choice
October 1–4, 2026
Wingspread Conference and Retreat Center
Racine, Wisconsin

The Sacred Pause
We all inherit patterns, ways of thinking, feeling, and relating that shape our lives, often without our awareness. Spiritual traditions describe this inheritance as karma, and dharma as the freedom to live with intention and choice.
Many of these patterns are learned long before we have a say. This retreat, From Past To Possibility, as its title indicates, offers a sacred pause to examine family patterns with honesty and care, and to discover the freedom that comes with conscious choice.
Rooted in self-inquiry and inner-child healing, this retreat supports a shift from inherited ways of being toward a more authentic, self-directed life.
WHAT WE'LL DO TOGETHER
Four Days, One Rhythm
Over four days, you will move through a rhythm designed to help you see clearly, feel deeply, and choose freely.
Deep Looking, Recognizing, Understanding
We will spend these four days in the quiet, honest work of looking closely at the patterns you have carried, recognizing where they began, and coming to understand them not with judgment but with compassion
Wisdom Teachings
Each day includes teachings drawn from timeless wisdom traditions, offered as a reminder of the promises your soul made when it chose the family you were born into, and the family you find yourself with now.
Practices to Relax, Release, and Reprogram
Through embodied practices, including yoga led by Deb Wineman, you will give the body and mind a chance to relax, release what no longer serves you, and begin to reprogram the deeper patterns that have kept you stuck. YOGA LED BY DEB WINEMAN
Active Imagination
Through guided exercises in active imagination, you will have the opportunity to imagine something different for yourself and begin rewriting the stories you have been living by
