5 Inspiring Weeks: Awakening the Heart

Awakened Heart design.png

Wednesday Evenings -
November 12th through December 17th

(Zoom Only - No class on November 26th)

In times of division and uncertainty, we are faced with two choices: to let our heart shut down or to open it a little more. This is no easy choice. On one hand, we know that closing the heart has not worked and will only deepen our suffering, and on the other, we fear that opening it could leave us vulnerable.

What if wisdom offers a third way - a path between avoidance and attachment? What if this way of the heart can be learned, practiced, and lived?

Over five inspiring weeks, we’ll explore what it means to live with an awakened heart — one that stays open, remains rooted in compassion, and is guided by a love greater than the sum of our differences.

Drawing from the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, Sharon Salzberg, Thomas Moore, and other beloved teachers, we’ll inspire one another to bring these insights into the living classroom of daily life — the places where the rubber meets the road. Together, we’ll rediscover how the heart’s natural intelligence can transform conflict into connection and fear into belonging.
